Portuguese Club Updates for November

Boa tarde,

The SLC Portuguese Club is still experiencing fantastic growth. We at the club appreciate everyone for joining and being patient as we await word on our merchandise and event inquiries!

It should be remembered that if you have any ideas for events or merchandise, you can send your ideas to myself at quinton.jamieson@student.sl.on.ca. Furthermore, new club posters will be going up in more locations around the school so be on the lookout for those!

While we are still waiting on other information regarding the club itself, now is a great time to mention some Portuguese related happenings in our Kingston community. The Portuguese Cultural Centre of Kingston is hosting its last "Chicken and Bifana Takeout" until Spring 2025 on Saturday, the 23rd of November, at 959 Division Street. Meals are $27 and chicken alone is $20. Orders must be placed before Thursday, November 21st by calling 613-561-0234.
